Under 14 Grade

Years:

Under 14 as at September 1st of enrolment year.

Venue:

All games in the Hutt Valley region.

When:

Sat. 8:30 - 12.15pm.

Game:

Normal cricket rules starting to apply. 30 over game Batters must retire at 30 runs.

Clothing:

White shorts or longs, club polo shirt and a hat.

Gear:

All gear provided by the club. Some children have their own bats, gloves, etc.

Protective equipment:

Boxes for boys, pads, gloves and helmets. Helmets for wicketkeepers.

Teams:

Teams of 11-12 are chosen by convenor to try and produce even teams.

Draw:

Maximum 18 games per season (usually loose 4 through wet weather). Draw done by Cricket Wellington 2 weeks in advance. No overall winning team.

Cancellations:

NewsTalk ZB at 7.30 and 8am as, “Hutt valley Junior Cricket all games are cancelled”
