The Logan Plaza Sports Centre can be booked by telephoning Ken or Debbie Fellows on 04 528 7266. Rates for use can be negotiated.

The Centre incorporates an office/shop, foyer, toilets, store room changing rooms and the indoor training arena. The modern shop/office provides an excellent administrative centre allowing events such as the recent New Zealand Secondary Schools Cross Country Championships to be accommodated.

Training indoors.

The indoor training arena measures approximately 39 Meters by 11 meters and comfortably accommodates 3 lanes with full length run ups. A unique padding/ absorption system has been fitted to the floor at the point of delivery at the bowling crease to help prevent leg injuries to bowlers. One lane can be set aside for the use of a bowling machine. The nets in the centre can be pulled back enabling the centre to be used as ‘one arena’, or divided into two 15 meter by 10 meter areas. As a result sports and activities such as such as netball, hockey and soccer can be accommodated.

The Centre will be administered and operated by the Trentham Sports Centre Trust, set up by Junior Cricket Upper Hutt for this purpose. The Trustees are charged with providing a home for junior cricket but also making the centre a valuable new resource in the Upper Hutt community of value to many clubs and groups.
