We don't want to our youngest players to miss out on a cricketing oppunity. If you wish to register for Smash Play please submit a late registration request (link below) and we will see how we can accomodate.

Who: Age 4-6, School Years; Kindergarten/Yr0/Yr1.

Where: All games at Trentham Memorial Park. (Indoor centre if wet - no cancellations due to weather)

When: Weekly Thurs 5-6pm. First session is 6 November 2025.

What is it ?: It is an introduction to the basics of the game, taught in planned environment using a variety of play activities, drills and minor games using specially designed, safe, plastic equipment. Smash Play introduces the children to the club's core values of participation, inclusion and sportsmanship as well as the positive benefits of team sport.

Smash Play participants are seen as the future of the club, and is resourced accordingly.

Fees 2025/26

Single Child - $90 per child

Families - $180 all inclusive, more than two children playing cricket. If you have more than 2 children playing please email abhishek.tyagi@juniorcricket.co.nz to request a family voucher prior to registering,
